Qualifications

Prior to becoming a Business Process Improvement Consultant, Clare was the Vice President of Information Systems for Concentra Preferred Systems, a high-tech healthcare cost containment company. In this role, Clare led the design of an entire new technical and process infrastructure to support growth and industry demands.

Clare holds Bachelor of Science (1991) and Master of Science (1993) degrees in Holistic Nutrition.

Select Project Experience:

International Surveillance Technology needed a structured process for new product development. Clare worked with Directors of Engineering, Production and Software to create a realistic and powerful model for designing and releasing highly sensitive technological products and services. She also created a customized sales training and customer programs specifically targeted to federal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies.

Alberta Health Services needed a method to organize, prioritize and launch improvement initiatives, so Clare created and facilitated a highly effective hands-on executive leadership session which provided a foundation, structure and solid path for their existing initiatives.

Connextions, Inc. needed to develop a cohesive and highly productive executive team to effectively manage major changes in the organization and industry, so Clare created a customized assessment to determine opportunities to improve this highly knowledgeable leadership team. She also designed and delivered a customized curriculum to teach, practice and apply key leadership skills and provided one-on-one coaching and team coaching to develop key leadership strengths and skills.

Bahamas Telecommunications Company needed a Performance Management System to surface and align quality initiatives so Clare designed a company-wide performance management software system resulting in the alignment of strategic corporate goals from VPs to coordinated targets for front-line technicians.

British Petroleum (BP) wanted to launch a world-wide Process Improvement initiative to improve core processes. Clare delivered a customized process simulation to educate program sponsors and spread awareness of the initiative.

UnitedHealth Care needed an enterprise-wide Leadership curriculum to develop consistent and highly effective process improvement and leadership skills. Clare designed and created the curriculum, created the roll-out and integration plans, delivered the first phase of training and mentored internal experts to continue leading the initiative and provided one-on-one and departmental coaching to target specific improvement initiatives
